Bouton Family
As an educator, my husband and I value a rigorous academic education for our children, yet it is difficult to know what that should look like. We chose to move our children to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School this year, and have been thrilled by experiences we never knew we were missing. Our 6th grader's love for science is thriving based largely on his exposure to the subject every day in the classroom. He has been taught terrific note taking skills and enjoys labs and projects. Our 3rd grader's teacher is continuously able to differentiate assignments for his needs, which vary widely. She has helped us to develop systems that scaffold his weakness, and challenges him individually in other areas. The growth that we have seen in our kindergartener's confidence is astounding. We credit her two required oral reports for largely contributing to her ability to give a parish announcement recently, at a parish that was not even hers. We are excited to see the academic growth in our children, and are even more ecstatic to see how they have grown in their faith. They eagerly discuss their weekly visits with the priests and participate in Mass and the sacraments during school. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School truly partners with our family to help our children find success.
