Students

Excellence in learning begins here.

At Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton School, we believe every child is a gift from God, with unique talents and potential. Together with parents and the parish community, we are here to help each child grow in faith, knowledge, and love, preparing them for the bright future God has planned for them.

Academics

For over 45 years, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton School has been dedicated to providing a nurturing and faith-filled environment where young children in preschool through 6th grade can grow spiritually, academically, and personally.

Our dedicated teachers create a joyful learning experience by setting clear expectations, encouraging curiosity, and tailoring instruction to each child’s needs. We focus on building essential skills in reading, writing, math, and critical thinking while fostering excellence and a lifelong love of learning.

Beyond academics, we provide many opportunities for children to explore their talents and build friendships through classes in Art, Music, Spanish and Physical Education. Our goal is to create a vibrant community where every child feels valued and supported.

Living our Catholic faith

At Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton School, we emphasize God’s love every day, creating a strong foundation of faith beginning with our youngest learners. Through grade-appropriate lessons in Catholic doctrine and values, children learn to be like Christ, living out their faith in kindness, empathy, and growing to know the importance of serving others. Our students become caring, respectful, and responsible citizens.

Each school day begins with a prayer and the pledge. Students attend weekly Mass and have daily religion lessons and may take advantage of visiting the parish’s perpetual adoration chapel. Reconciliation, Stations of the Cross and the Rosary are regularly scheduled throughout the year.

Our students participate in Faith in Action projects throughout the school year. From food and clothing drives to building homeless care kits, our students focus on serving those in the Anchorage community and sharing their faith with others. Our school was honored to receive the Humanitarian Award in 2023 from the Alaska Head Start Association.
